Porsche Centre Aberdeen Unveils The New 911
It’s the power and passion. It’s the pace and the pzazz. It’s the pride in possession of a Porsche.
At the start of December our Porsche Centre unveiled the new 2016 911 with an evening of glitter and entertainment.
250 discerning drivers attended the launch at Porsche Centre Aberdeen where they were in the front seat for the unveiling of the new Porsche 911, with its turbocharged engines, updated Porsche touchscreen infotainment system and adaptive cruise control.
Guests were treated to exclusive tours of the 911Carrera, 911 Carrera S, 911 Cabriolet and 919 Hybrid – and were able to test their performance car knowledge with a Porsche-themed quiz with Porsche prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.
The celebration of everything that’s excellent in Porsche engineering was accompanied by a selection of canapés, from black truffles to quails’ eggs, washed down with chilled Prosecco and other fine wines.
It was a tremendous evening, with staff and guests sharing the enthusiasm about the special nature of Porsche.
The event also marked Porsche Centre Aberdeen’s move to its current location on Wellington Road, where it now offers clients a 22-car showroom, a 10-bay workshop and an undercover area to showcase pre-owned Porsches. A commemorative plaque was unveiled for the new Centre after Peter Vardy, chief executive of the fast-growing motor group, and Chris Craft, Managing Director of Porsche Cars Great Britain Ltd, spoke to the audience.
The entire Porsche sales team joined in the evening’s entertainment and were available to introduce guests to the entire Porsche range, including Boxster, Cayman, Panamera and Cayenne as well as the 2016 911.
Peter Vardy, CEO, said: “The event was a great success and we look forward to celebrating the launch of many more fantastic cars at the Porsche Centre Aberdeen in the future.”
